ENT Practitioner Dr. Kevin Meakin

Dr. Meakin believes that actively listening to and acknowledging his patients' concerns plays an integral part in their care. He believes in providing quality health care utilizing a contemporary ENT treatment approach while always putting the patient first.

Dr. Meakin provides patient services in Franklin and Churchland, Virginia. His areas of practice include:

Dr. Meakin received his undergraduate degree from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. He received his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. Dr. Meakin completed his internship and residency training in Otolaryngology-Facial Plastic Surgery through the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Meakin is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He serves on the Board of examiners for the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Meakin also serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). He lives in Suffolk, Virginia with his wife Nancy and their two children, Cassandra and Matthew.
